Our Testing Experience
First Impressions
When I first opened the 13 lb. bag of Purina Cat Chow Naturals with Added Vitamins, Minerals and Nutrients, I noticed a fresh, natural smell that was pleasant and not too strong. The kibble looked appealing, with different shapes and sizes that seemed easy for my cat to pick up. I was excited to see real chicken listed as the first ingredient because I wanted to make sure my cat was getting quality nutrition. I introduced the food slowly, mixing it with her old food to help her adjust.
Daily Use
Every day, my cat seemed eager to eat the Purina Naturals. She finished her meals quickly, which was a great sign that she liked the taste. I appreciated that the formula included real salmon and whole grains, which gave me confidence that she was getting balanced nutrition. It was also nice to see the focus on weight control, as my cat tends to gain weight easily. I noticed she stayed active and playful during these weeks, which made me happy.
Key Features in Action
The most important feature for me was the blend of 25 essential vitamins and minerals. I felt good knowing this food was supporting her overall health, especially since she is an indoor cat. The real chicken as the #1 ingredient really seemed to help with her energy and coat condition. Over time, her fur looked shinier and softer. The weight control aspect also worked well, as her weight stayed steady without any extra snacks or treats.
Long-Term Performance
After using Purina Cat Chow Naturals for several months, I can say it really met my expectations. My cat remained healthy and active, and I didn’t notice any digestive issues or changes in behavior. The food held up well in terms of freshness, even in a large 13 lb. bag. Overall, this dry cat food became a reliable part of our routine. I would recommend it to other cat owners looking for natural, nutritious options with added health benefits.
